The connection between Design Thinking and Modernism was less to focus on any one precedent evolution but more so to show how one design framework from the past and one in the current hasn't really changed in becoming more socially conscious as they market themselves to be. They both, conscious or not, pereptuate and abet white supremacy in this capitalist world.
